  • Locating files that you have misplaced as companies can do that remotely

Is there room for advancement?

In the tech support field there is always room for advancement. In larger companies that help with IT solutions in Houston there are executive and manager roles. You could be in charge of running the entire PC support department or be in charge of a speciality service of a department. You may also move up to helping develop company policies. It is a good career with many types of places to gain employment.
